A major milestone for Suryodaya Municipality! On 2081/11/11 (February 23, 2025), an agreement was signed between the Director General of the National Identity and Registration Department and the Mayor of Suryodaya Municipality to establish a temporary National Identity Card registration and distribution station. This initiative will greatly benefit the citizens, making ID registration more accessible. Attending the AIT RRC.AP Meet 2025 in Bangkok was a remarkable experience, allowing Suryodaya Municipality to share its vision for climate and disaster resilience on a global stage. With esteemed dignitaries, including Japan’s Environment Minister, and 45 participants from across Asia and the Pacific, the event fostered insightful discussions on sustainable urban development, climate adaptation, and disaster risk reduction. AIT RRC.AP’s focus on climate change, air quality, and waste management aligned perfectly with our goals, and I was honored to highlight our municipality’s ongoing initiatives. Beyond presentations, valuable networking opportunities strengthened collaborations for future projects. Importantly, I want to assure our citizens that our participation imposed no financial burden on the municipality, as all expenses were covered by the organizers. Moving forward, the knowledge and connections gained will guide our policies and reinforce our commitment to building a greener, safer, and more resilient Suryodaya.
