Regarding AIT RRC.AP Meet Thailand 2025

Attending the AIT RRC.AP Meet 2025 in Bangkok was a remarkable experience, allowing Suryodaya Municipality to share its vision for climate and disaster resilience on a global stage. With esteemed dignitaries, including Japan’s Environment Minister, and 45 participants from across Asia and the Pacific, the event fostered insightful discussions on sustainable urban development, climate adaptation, and disaster risk reduction. AIT RRC.AP’s focus on climate change, air quality, and waste management aligned perfectly with our goals, and I was honored to highlight our municipality’s ongoing initiatives. Beyond presentations, valuable networking opportunities strengthened collaborations for future projects. Importantly, I want to assure our citizens that our participation imposed no financial burden on the municipality, as all expenses were covered by the organizers. Moving forward, the knowledge and connections gained will guide our policies and reinforce our commitment to building a greener, safer, and more resilient Suryodaya.

I remember one evening, we shared a meal with a group of local farmers, and they were so eager to learn about our agricultural practices in Nepal. We spent hours exchanging stories and tips, and I realized how much we can learn from each other.
