Overview
Suryodaya Municipality successfully convened its Municipal Assembly held on 10th Ashad, 2082, which saw the presentation of of the Annual Budget Statement for Suryodaya Municipality for the F/Y 2082-083 and several other equally important Legislative Bills.
Chaired by the Mayor of Municipality, the municipal assembly saw active participation from assembly members on the subject of discussion.

The Deputy Mayor of the MunicpalityMr. Durga Kumar Baral presented amongst the members of the Municipal Assembly a comprehensive budget statement for the upcoming fiscal year 2082-083, encompassing:
- Suryodaya Municipality Financial Bill, 2082
- Appropriation Bill, 2082
- Three-Year Expenditure Framework (2082/83 to 2084/85)
These legislative proposals have been thought to align with municipality’s strategic as well as Sustainable development goals and outline sectoral budget allocations, upcoming programs, and a vision for sustainable growth in the region.
5) Call for Participation
Following the budget and other legislative proposals presentation from the deputy mayor, the chairperson extended an open call to the assembly members, interested in providing suggestions or participating in detailed discussions during upcoming sessions. Members were invited to register their names for inclusion in deliberations on the bills.
4) Conclusion of Session
The assembly session was formally closed by the Mayor and the chairperson of the assembly with a declaration of adjournment, noting that further discussions and refinements on the proposed plans will continue in subsequent sittings.
