Suryodaya Municipality’s “Let’s play with math, let’s have fun with math” campaign for Secondary Examination Education (SEE) Excellence

Suryodaya Municipality has set a benchmark of excellence in community schools in Secondary Examination Education (SEE) exams.

As the mayor to the municipality, I am fully committed to improving the results of the upcoming Secondary Education Examination (SEE) which we seek to actively engage with parents through formal agreements. This initiative, pioneered by our dedicated principals and teachers, ensures that parents guarantee at least 70% attendance of their children throughout the academic year.

Furthermore, the Municipality has institutionalized monthly municipality-level tests with proper budgetary allocation. The results of these tests are published through the Education Youth and Sports section’s official page.

Based on the outcomes, students are provided with additional targeted classes as per requirement which would further address individual learning gaps but also help students overcome exam-related fears and boost their confidence.

This has been encouraging for me to share that our students are now demonstrating a strong interest in Mathematics, while in English, nearly 90% of them have achieved excellent results. To give substance to this year’s municipal campaign “Let us play with Mathematics, let us build mathematical concepts” we have already begun distributing Mathematics practice booklets across schools.

With strategic interventions like these, Suryodaya Municipality is advancing with a clear vision and determination to secure provincial-level excellence in the upcoming SEE examinations.
