I would like to take a moment and express my sincerest of gratitude to NTV Itahari team for their coverage of our efforts and initiatives regarding the increment of milk productivity programs in the municipality.
The use of sexed semen has been instrumental in increasing the number of female calves, with a staggering success rate of over 90%, and we are expected to boost milk production to 30 liters per cow on it’s first lactation.
The municipality heavily considers the welfare of it’s hardworking farmers and thus, has invested significantly in this program, aiming to increase the economic well-being through the increased rate of daily milk productivity and through the distribution of distributing various types of nutritious grass seeds to further boost the cattle’s productivity.
This initiative is part of a larger effort to become the first foot-and-mouth disease-free municipality in Koshi Province. We deeply appreciate NTV Itahari for highlighting these important initiatives!
